I had the privilege to present to three groups in the last few months about the importance of grassroots lobbying in the political process.
As a lobbyist in Nevada for the last 16 years, I appreciate the impact that even one person can have on the political process.
In February, I was asked to share my experiences with members of the Associated General Contractors and the Northern Nevada Dental Association. And just last week, I presented to the Right of Way Association here in Carson City.
One of the most important contributors to effective grassroots lobbying in Carson City is understanding how the process works and where to "plug in" to have the greatest impact. My presentation reviews the legislative basics and shares my thoughts about the grassroots "lobbying pyramid."
